If that fixes the problem I would write a letter or find a number to call at the manufacturer and tell them the specifics and the names and addresses of the dealerships that turned you away without a resolution to your problem. Personally I would print a letter to be sent to the manufacturer, and hand deliver a copy of it to each of the dealers who told you there was no problem and got rid of you. Take it right to the person at the head of the dealership if not the owner of it. Let them know how you were treated and have a copy of the paperwork from the dealership that fixed it for them to see that there was in fact a problem with your vehicle and the other dealership resolved it. Those dealerships don’t like negative feedback going to corporate headquarters and most of the time will try and prevent it. Who knows, maybe the next few service repairs or oil changes, trans fluid changes or coolant changes will be on them if you change your mind and don’t send that letter to corporate HQ. Just a thought.
I don’t believe that would help. Something I’ve learned through this experience and from reading multiple GM forums is that GM customer service is horrible and they frankly don’t give a rats….. You know.
