I have a 97 camry 2.2l. When I drive it it makes a humming noise and vibration that increases as it goes faster. The noise and vibration get very bad at about 55-60. and decrease before and after that. The noise and vibration go away when I turn right and stays when I turn left. Also, when I turn left the steering wheel can sometimes stick when it is returning to center. only at certain speeds and does not happen all the time. I figured since it went away when i turned right and stayed when I turned left it must’ve been the passenger side wheel bearing. well, I put on a new passenger side wheel bearing today and no luck. anyone have any ideas? could it be the cv axle? or the other wheel bearing? when i changed the wheel bearing the boot seemed kinda twisted. But i don’t get any clicking noises at all.
