MAF Sensor

      I was told by the guy at O’Reillys Auto Parts that the MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor is controlled by the BCM (Body Control Module) in a 04 Impala.

      Is this True?

        False- the ecm would be receiving the maf input.

          i have no idea why in the world they told you that when the primary function is too tell the …PCM… how much air flow is going into the engine helping …PCM… adjust air fuel mixture! BCM has little to do with the function of your engine, at least not as much as the PCM.
