I dunno if anyone had a nightmare about this, but what do you do when this happens…. ?

according to my service manual for my nissan xterra (rear wheel primary 4WD) the whole axle needs to be replaced. personally, I don’t see why 5/6 lugnuts is cause for concern… :S

You can hammer the old lug out. It is really that simple. Installing a new one will be a bit different. You will need a impact electric or air.

5/6 Lug nuts on as wheel is a problem because the engineers have calculated that the wheel assembly will work best that way. The calculations are based on testing and on going research. In addition, if it is possible you should replace the assembly in question to avoid problems.
