Hello ETCG
great site, i appreciate your time and sharing your knowledge. this is my first email here im from Netherlands and my english is not that good
my question is: i noticed recently that my steering is a little bit loose. when the steering wheel is at nul-position (as if you are driving straight forward) i feel that the wheel has a half of an inch free non responsive movement to both directions, beyond that is everything normal. the car has a electro hydrolic steering. i checked the steering rack on any oil leak but it seems fine. the power steering fluid level is in the middle. i also tried to move front wheels while car on the ground for any looseness but i didn’t feel anything. the car has had no damages, only thing is that i recently hit/touched the sidewalk blocks during the parking, but i cant imagine that could cause such a effect. also i changed recently the wishbone rubbers but in that time everything was normal. anyway would you tell me what else might be the reason.
thanks again in advance
Farshid.
