looking to buy this car think motor was replaced?

this guy says the car has 200k on it and that it needs a new motor i looked at the motor pics and it looks like somebody has replaced the engine before or they did alot of work on it and put new parts on it what do we think? i think at 200k even if its an orginal motor its still got life left in it

If the owner who is trying to sell the car and get the best price says he doesn’t trust the engine, I would believe him…..

The engines in those Mustangs were junk. Even the 5.0 wasn’t great in those years.. If it’s got 200.000 on it, It’s likely worn out.

going to change the motor.Then the price drops to 300.
