I got into my automatic transmission class today and my teacher approached me and gave me a transmission he wanted disassembled and put back together. I have the shift rod which was attached to the valve body removed, along with the oil pan and drive sprocket cover. The last thing we pulled was part of the differential.
He told me he wanted it done meticulously but gave me no reason other than he wanted to keep it. He is currently looking for a manual on it, but I have a couple of classes left to get it back together. From what I understand this transaxle requires special tools so the manual would help a lot.
He said it is from a 1984-84 chrysler or dodge minivan so I’m guessing its a a413 transaxle and pictures online seem to confirm it. I was wondering if there was any place online I could find a manual for this transmission. Thanks in advance.
