Hello I recently swapped a 97 b18c JDM type R into my 98 hatchback everything went together smoothly after about 2 and a half weeks of driving I noticed the grease that’s in my axel boot was flung all around under my car as if the boot was ripped however they are not ripped the grease just seems to be squeezing out from somewhere probably the edges of the boot after some research on the Honda tech forums I learned the JDM ITR axels do not work with my 98 hatchback hub even though they went into the hub seemingly smooth just had to replace the axle nut with a GSR nut because my d16 axel nut did not fit now that you have some back story could my leaking boot problem be caused by the the axels not fitting properly even though they slid into the hub just fine or is it caused by something else entirely and if the JDM ITR axels supposedly do not work with my 98 usdm hatchback hub which axels should I pick that’ll fit the JDM ITR tranny and usdm hub
Thank you any and all help is appreciated I’m at my wits end here
