Check plugs and wires first. In fact, check all wires and ground connections. You will need to give more info but I presume if you have replaced trans and it’s 2001, it’s probably has more than 100,000 miles on car. I presume no codes means you did plug in OBD-II tester and no hidden codes also. If fuel filter not been replaced (in past 50,000 miles) could be that but usually not a miss at idle (but could be). Light miss at speed and occasional miss at idle can be more “fun” to find because it sounds like most of the time, it runs smoothly. Also makes me wonder if timing is off a little maybe so check that too. Eric has some great videos on other parts of this website that can help you a lot. Just do a search and you will see. Good luck.

i also have a 2001 Chrysler t&c, last year i put a trans in too. i had the same problem. found my erg transducer was the cause, found a whole one on ebay and replaced just the transducer problem went away. try disconnecting the vacuum feed and put a screw in hose to block vacuum. being its cold out shoudn’t create a code

Checking/changing the spark plugs is very sound advice. If you’ve got a V6, you’re due for spark plugs every 60K. (IIRC, which I probably don’t, the four cylinder would be due for plugs at 102K.) There’s an emissions label on the upper radiator brace that will give you the exact part number for your replacement spark plugs. Use those exact plugs.

If this problem didn’t show up until you put in the transmission, I’d also suspect torque converter shudder. You can test the torque converter out by lightly applying the brakes while maintaining the cruising speed. You’re not actually trying to stop the van, you just want to apply the brakes enough to turn on the brake lights. If that miss goes away with the brakes applied, you’ve got torque converter shudder. Was that transmission new, used, or a remanufactured unit?
