Light bulb socket grease?

I am restoring an old wiring harness and the tail light sockets are full of this hard white grease. The vehicle is an 85 Ford ranger. What or should I replace it with?

Dielectric Grease

Permatex 22058 dielectric grease will do the same exact thing plus the 3 ounce size costs far less per ounce/gram
You’ll have plenty left over for other needs such as spark plug boots, etc.

Yeah, it is the same as the Permatex, but the little packet is available for about a buck, and if that’s all that’s needed, there’s no reason to spend more at the moment.
