      Anyone familiar with the transmission on 2008 Lexus ES 350 and if it needs to be serviced. I see it may be a closed system. I know they use a WS type fluid. It is one of the items to inspect on the Lexus 90,000 mile service schedule.

        Lexus has sealed the transmission on this model and it has no specified service interval…(similar to an in-tank fuel filter)… Essentially, it is supposed to last the life of the vehicle and replacement is only necessary when/if something goes wrong…
