      I think those axles might be bolted in, see what you have and if they’re bolted in just remove the fasteners.

        This axle is not bolted in.

          Well that would not be my preferred method as you can see he was hammering for a while.

            So, reinsertion of the axle should be performed as you did in your video; using a drilling hammer is overkill? (as he did in his video)

              Yea I think it is overkill but sometimes I’ve had to ‘tap’ the axle to get it to seat into the transmission but I’ve never used power tools for this, for me they seem to go in a lot easier than they come out.
