Being an apprentice in canada i do a ton of tires, so with that i have to say anything with lug studs
November 23, 2012 at 9:32 am #478935saturns ARE made of plastic. that was their whole marketing spiel. carts in a parking lot hitting them and no dents. pull the fender off one it says rubbermaid on the back. no joke.
i dont like them either and i have one. they are gutless, and cant pull themselves up a hill empty let alone with driver and passengers. i often get passed pulling passes by fully loaded log trucks. when the engine blows im dumping a honda or toyota engine/trans in it.
i dont like dodge products. seen too many of them drop trans on the road. literally drop transmission parts on the road followed by a red slick.
i love my chevys though. 173000 on the truck and still barks the tires shifting from 1st to second 236000 on the Caprice and still climbs to well over 115mph

[/quote]It all depends on how well they are taken care of. Mine’s still sitting pretty at 174k, but yes chrysler transmissions have a reputation for a reason.
