Hello,
I’ve got a problem with a “knock” when changing gears – on the last step, just when letting out the clutch pedal – when the clutch engages, it makes a loud knock.
Mostly on the first first gear when going from a dead stop, slightly quieter when changing from 1 to 2, and none or very slightly knock when changing from 4 to 5. When i use a lot of gas and let the clutch pedal slowly when going from a dead stop (so the clutch “slips” a litle that way) – there is none or very slightly knock
Here is a video how does the engine react:

So i looked at them myself. The right mount and the gearbox mount looks and feels ok, but here is what the rear and front looks like, although there are no cracks:Rear: (im using a screwdriver and not so much force, i can easily do it with my left hand)

Secondly i thought the drive axles – cv joints. Both the outer had a little slack when rotating and were non OEM, so i replaced them with a good brand, now there is no play but that didn’t help it, i can still hear it – but i dont know if its any better.
The inner CV joints look good to me, maybe the driver side one can rotate loose about 1mm – 0.04inch, but can it be really it?
What else could it be? The differential?
Im able to rotate the wheel a little bit when on 1st gear and that wheel is lifted up. When doing it fast and with a lot of power i can almost mimic the action from the first video. Should i be able to do that or does that mean i have a problem in the differential?
Honda Accord 96-98′, 1.8L, european version, manual gearbox, ~110 thousand miles.
Sorry if im not using the right words – hope You can understand me, english is not my first language.
