I might be in the market for a newer car in the spring.. I am trying to stay with Honda but was wondering about late model Kia’s say 2008 or newer. What nis the reliability of one say with 80 thousands miles?

I would stick with Honda or look elsewhere other than Kia. The quality is still not there and their warranty has ALOT of loopholes in it from what I’ve heard. Two weeks ago I drove a customers 2014 and was not impressed.

so i have seen alot of Honda’s with 2.2 and 2.3 engines. My friends say those engines are junk. Your thoughts.

Your thoughts.[/quote] I’m not all that familiar with Honda’s personally, I mostly work on domestics(Chevy, Ford, Dodge). Why do your friends say the engines are junk? Do they have experience with them?

they say they have problems with the block cracking.

Honda even extended the warranty on that and did goodwill replacements! That is an old problem on older blocks..nothing to worry about. Never believe everything you are told.
