Keeping pest out of your shop/garage.

What all do you guy’s do to keep pest out of your working area,I myself have a 18’x 21′ garage {expansion in the near future} at the moment it’s just a dirt floor “all I could afford at the time was the building” otherwise I’d have concrete. I have many,many spiders in mine over everything else and so far nothing I’ve used has worked,any suggestions ?
