While trying to get to the thermostat in my 91 Bonneville, I broke this:

Looks to be a vacuum line block. If you can get the plastic nipple out without destroying the rubber you can epoxy it back on just make sure there are no cracks and you don’t plug the inside. It would need to be air tight with the epoxy job then you would need to carefully reinstall the rubber boot. What the line is connected too though I have no clue. When you are done though you cannot have any holes though as it would create a vacuum leak.

My suggestion, bypass that thing entirely and use a T connector with vacuum lines. I had to do that on my 98 regal when a similar setup broke at the throttle body. In fact I may have to do that with my impala.

Thanks very much, I’m going to try this. (Had to jump on my bicycle to go buy some epoxy, haha! Wifey has our “good car” today.)

Welp, after a short test drive it seems to be working. 🙂

If your epoxy job doesn’t hold you can likely find another at a salvage yard.
