I have a 96 jeep cherokee has been running great. But the springs are shot. Went over a bumpy road and now it has a noise when it’s running. Almost sounds like it’s stuffed up when you start to get up to speed. Also when you shut it down it gives a bad rumble right at the end. Put a lot of work in to the jeep and would like your in put. Thank you

Based on your limited description, I would look at the exhaust system mounts, and the exhaust system itself for holes, etc. Other than that, can you provide more info?
A+ on checking the exhaust. sounds like the
bumpy road loosened something in the muffler
or the cat. try banging on each to see if you hear
loose parts.+1 on checking the exhaust for the same reasons, you might also look for damage if your ‘bumpy road’ was an ‘off road’ situation, you could have bent something and restricted a pipe.
after i put a new radiator in because the fan clutch ate into it, found that the noise was from the right side engine mount was snaped off at the block. fixed it and all was good.
