Hi all,
I jacked up my car yesterday via jacking sills, however, the jack does dig into the metal. Plus I then had to slide under the car to find a safe part of the sub frame to put the jack stands, which was a bit nerve wrecking.
Where else is it to safely jack up the car, I have trouble identifying what part of the subframe is safe what is the subframe and what is not.
Please see picture below, which appears to be where the suspension joins to subframe. Is this a good place to jack car up? Then I can put jack stands under jacking sills, which I think will be better.
However, I am a bit wary jacking car up by where suspension joins to subframe as the brake / fuel lines are close by.Thanks
Colin
