Is silicone grease the same as silicone paste?

Just wanted to know for the slider pins in the brakes to lube them I want to use one lube for all the parts, brake pads, clips and slider pins and I read that you only use silicone on the slider pins and I’m getting a really good silicone grease for the pads and want to use on the sliders. TIA
