My service manual says that I need to fill the AC system with 7.75oz of PAG oil. So is that ounces weight, or fluid ounces volume?

Logic would suggest that oil should be measured in fluid ounces (and therefore by volume), but this is car repair… I’ve seen a YT video where a guy is measuring PAG oil by weight.
