      Hi Pros,

I drove from Kansas to California, unfortunately, my Nissan Sentra Spec-V has an aftermarket exhaust header without catalytic converter (original manifold was replaced). So I want to put an exhaust manifold with built-in catalytic converter. 🙁

Then I checked the emission label under hood (attached pic

), is my car compliant to CA emission regulation? I am concerned that even if I put back the exhaust manifold with built-in catalytic converter, it will not pass the smog check in CA.

      Thank you,
      Shiwei

The way I read the label you were compliant. As for putting the cat back on. It will need to meet
OE specs and or be California compliant.
