How about a video on the timing belt deflection between the 2 cams? All you would have to do is remove the valve cover. Once you’ve done that, rotate the engine a little by hand. I think you’ll find that the tension changes as you rotate the engine. If that’s the case, the tension should be readjusted.

My top timing belt cover is off and I revved the engine on a cold start and I saw the timing belt jump around.

The belt should not be “jumping around”. That means the cams are pushing back and forth, accelerating and decellerating the belt, which messes up the cam timing and strains the belt. So you need to tighten the belt a bit. That will increase the average belt strain but reduce the peak strain, and probably quiet the valves a bit too.

I see. It only did it for a little while. It stopped Jumping, but since it did It does need to be tightened a bit.
