My car is a 2015 Mazda 3. It has 75,000 miles already and I had just changed my battery. Should I have changed my alternator as well or not always? The reason why I had to change my battery was because I drive a lot and have lots of gadgets (gps, dash cam, etc.) connected. I thought it was necessary because my last oil change the mechanic tested the battery and there was leaking, failed test, and the terminals corrosion. I thought it was time.

        Unless it is faulty.
No reason to replace a working alternator.
