Hello All,
I just subscribed to the ECTG forum and this is my first post. I replaced the coolant on my 2009 Dodge Caliber 1.8L today (thanks Eric for recommending the Spill Free Funnel. It was invaluable.) I had the engine running at 2500 rpm with the front wheels off the ground bleeding the system and the ABS light came on. I’m assuming that this had something to do with the fact that the front wheels were turning a little bit, each at different rates (manual tranny), confusing the computer into thinking a wheel speed sensor was bad. While road testing the vehicle the ABS light went off. My question: does this mean the code has been cleared, too or is it still in there?
Thanks,
Brad
