I’ve had intentions on doing something like this for some time. It was originally an idea for a TV show, now it will be part of my web show. If nothing else, I’m hoping it helps people and we get a wider variety of repair videos. Either way, I’m looking forward to this project. What are your thoughts?

Eric, this is a great idea. Sharing the good fortune you have been bestowed with (both your shop and your knowledge) is good karma.
I also wonder if you could get the local media involved, this may help get wider circulation and maybe national media might pick it up.I wonder if you could get a mail order parts house to work with you (something like RockAuto). I would definitely patronize them if they helped you out with this.

I already have a few parts places, and other related companies on board. That said, I’m concerned about media exposure if I’m honest. As it is, I have very little time to keep up with my workload. Adding more to it frightens me a bit. I’m already trying to put people in place to help with editing and shooting, but there is still a long way to go. I’m hoping to ease into this project rather than blow it up to gain exposure.

Hey one item I saw on the list was “water came in passenger side” and that was right after (on the same line) as the leaking coolant. Is this a separate issue or a related one? Does the van have coolant leaking inside?
Just wondering….

The only leak I found so far was the one at the radiator.
