hey Eric, another question for you on my 97 malibu 3.1 that I just put a new engine in and a week later my battery light came on, had two alternators checked and passed more than once. Do not have continuity between the ALT/charging wire and the battery terminal, checked all fuses with a continuity checker fuse panel in both doors and under the hood, had a RDO/BATT 10 amp fuse blown and replaced it with no change, do you know anything about GM’s BFC/PCM computers, also just put in a new cluster with engine swap and checked the old one and it does the samething. I dont know exactly where the charging wire goes to connect to the battery.PCM??BFC?? update…disconnected the charging wire and ran a wire direct from the alt to batt and started charging hooked up the charging wire along with the direct wire and stopped charging removed the charging wire and went direct again and not charging with the direct wire now, checked all wires by tugging on them with no change
