      Ok, my car is showing 0psi in one of the cylenders…whats the chance of it being a stuck valve?

        Its a possibility. do a leak down test. see if you can
        put air on that cylinder to see if it holds or leaks out.

          it’s quite likely to be a stuck valve. The alternative is that all the piston rings decided to stick or break at the same time.

            I have no way to do the leak down test, i had to borrow the compression test tool…will look into it and repost this afternoon thanks!

              A stuck valve is VERY unlikely but a bent or burned valve is very likely.

                If you have no way to do a compression test, you will have to pay someone to do it for you. There is no use speculating on what it COULD be. Bottom line is, you have no compression, which is a mechanical problem, and you are going to have to tear into the engine to fix what ever is wrong.

                  It ended up being that the head gasket was out…it was leaking down to cyl 2 and out the side of the block…so #2 was slightly low and 3 had 0…thanks though

                      To answer your original question, not very likely at all. Valves just don’t stick in cylinder heads unless they are very broken and that doesn’t happen often. That said, I’m gad you were able to find the problem. It’s not common for that engine to have head gasket problems. I would defiantly check the block squareness as well as the cylinder head. It’s more likely that something is warped causing the gasket not to seal. If you had a severe overheat or something like that it could have contributed to that problem.

                        I went and had the head and block completely machined, and i rebuilt it myself! Runs like a dream now!!
