Eric or anyone on this site,

I’m looking for a good video on how to install a back-up camera on my Tiburon, any suggestions?

      -Dave

P.S. Eric can you do a video on how to operate a Hybrid Transmission?

I’m don’t know of any youtube video, but I’ve installed a back up camera on my work van when I worked for Dish T.V. as it was company policy to back into all our work sites (so we are in the ‘get away’ position’ for emergencies or safety)

It’s pretty easy. Just do a simple test for power. If you can find a wiring harness near the tail lights, or just go to the tail light socket itself, You’ll end up identifying the circuit that gets voltage when you put the vehicle into reverse, then you’ll splice into that wire. You can get ground anywhere off the body. I just tied my ground into a nearby screw into the back van door.

I got the camera in and working. I had to Ground to the chassis and run the power direct to the Reverse cable with the trigger spliced into the power cable not the reverse cable.

Using the trigger with the AVIC F700BT V. 3 can freeze the radio but if the only time your backing up is to park then you can just manually activate the camera through the A/V Source menu.

To get the trigger to work, I had to change the Polarity to Ground instead of Battery.
