Installed fog lights and my car dies

Hi I installed fog lights on my 2001 Honda civic just today and when I was driving around my car died, I got it jumped and managed to drive it until I got home but once I let the car sit while on it died again. Im pretty sure I wired the fog lights properly and it might just be the alternator not being able to charge the system with everything on, are my suspicions correct or can there be another issue? i am open to all suggestions.

Coincidentally, your battery might be on its way out. I’d check that first.
