Injector ohm testing

I have recently removed the intake plenum and am able now to test the ohms on my injectors. I cannot however find out what is correct ohms. I think over 12 ohms, but not sure. And I have one at 16 ohms. The manual does not have fuel injector ohms. Fuel injectors are 60-130 dollars per, however at the wrecker they are 10 bucks. So if I can determine ideal ohms, then I can get them cheap.

The numbers I have recorded (ohms) are

      #1 – 15.8
      #2 – 13.3
      #3 – 14.3
      #4 – 16.1
      #5 – 13.1
      #6 – 9.4

it is for GM 2.8L chevy corsica. as per this page, they seem to be problematic, so i definitely want to look into this:

      autozone part: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/GP-Sorensen-Fuel-Injector/1988-Chevrolet-Corsica/_/N-ihro6Z8vd08?itemIdentifier=79717_2390_0_

any idea where I find this information? or is there a standard range?

Im sure you can find this info in the service manual pdf version not the Hayes . But are you checking the ohms because you thing you have trouble in the wiring or do you think you have a faulty injector. It would be easier to swap out the suspect injector with a know working on. for example if you think injector 1 is bad, swap it with injector three and see if you get a miss fire on 3.

Yes my dealer service manual should have it I agree. It has lots of recommended values for things, just not injectors. However there are some pages missing from it as well.

i am not having any problems, but i was removing the intake plenum for another issue so I thought I would check them before putting it all back together again. I do suspect some execsive gas consumption issues, so I am going through the list of things to check on that. One of the items was injectors. I do agree that testing a good injector and looking at its resistance would be a good start, if i had a brand new one. Perhaps they will let me test one at the parts store without buying it.
