FORD E250 1996 EXTENDED CARGO VAN.

I TEST DROVE THE ABOVE MENTIONED VEHICLE. I RAN THE A/C BECAUSE IT WAS VERY HOT. WHEN I GOT OUT OF THE VEHICLE I SAW A PUDDLE OF WATER JUST UNDER THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. IS THAT NORMAL. I SPOKE TO ONE OF THE FORD MECHANICS AND THEY SAID THAT IS OK.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

BY THE WAY THE VEHICLE ONLY HAS 88,000 KM ON IT .

When you run A/C it takes the moisture out of the air and the moisture ends up in the ground. Just like when your refrigerator cools and the moisture ends up on the pan under it at the bottom. It is a normal part of how the refrigeration and cooling works.

It’s normal but in my opinion usually poorly executed on Fords – They’ll allow the condensation to drip down on a frame rail or torque box and rot them out after a few years, best thing to do is make up a “drip tray” or anything that will at least direct the water under the car instead of onto the car and running off from there.

            Yes, all vehicles do it.

A+ on above posts. The ac removes moisture from the air.
which causes water.to drip on the ground.

Yep normal, think of a glass of ice water and the condensation on the outside of the glass on a hot day, same thing just inside the dash and the AC evaporator is the glass of ice water.
