Infinitie Qx4 2000 Jerks when shift 1 to 2nd gear

Dear Mr. Eric,

I have infiniti Qx4 2000 model.

I have changed the gear box…purchased used.

My car jerks when shift from 1st to 2nd gear……plus i noticed delayed gear shifting and heavy gears vibration/sound between speed 80 to 120+/- on highways….

I did computer testing….it shows error in 1st gear only…

What count be the possible reason? gear oil less..? any sensor issue or i got faulty gears?

but what you say dear … what symptoms says…why it jerks only in 1st to second gear? Why gears type vibration when speed go up 80 on highways…

Hey Mr. Eric / Mr. Collage Man,

Here is the snapshot of computer testing result.

It shows some error said:

Gear 1 incorrect ratio
Code: P0731

Can you inform me what this error code said and what is the solution to handle this situation? Should i need to change gear box completely or it is reparable or it need some sensor replacement or oil change?
