i found out in the car manual that the throttle cable is not adjustable on this vehicle you would have to replace it. ?now is all this caused by the throttle cable? when i set the cruise control system on the free way say at 65 mph the car steadily wants to increase speed to go faster i have even took the fuse out for the cruise control system because of this problem to see if that was the cause of the car to idle high and stay around 2,000 rpm when i am sitting at a stop light or a stop sign or when i push the clutch in to shift to the next highest gear. even when i am not pushing the gas pedal brake or clutch pedal when the car is moving the car wants to drive it self this happens when i got the fuse in the cruise control system or out no change. ? so is this a throttle cable issue causing all these problems because all my hoses and every thing else is ok the car runs pretty good except for what i stated above i have no codes stored in the computer the only light that is lit up and it says service with a wrench next to it that is because i pulled the fuse for the cruise control system so when i put the fuse back in the light is out so i am not worried about that light being on because i know what that is. what i am wanting to know is what is all involved with that cruise control system and does the throttle cable run to it on that particular vehicle. and it does not idle high like this all the time only some of the time please help.
