At least once a day when my son turns the ignition key, absolutely nothing. No Sound no dash lights no crank. This has been ongoing for a year,. The way I found to correct the situation was remove the negative battery cable for 10 seconds reattach all is well. Since then I installed one of those negative battery cutoffs, so that it’s easier to cut power. Battery terminal are new and ground is good. The past weekend I changed the ignition switch as that appears to be a frequent point of failure, no luck. I really need some assistance in this matter. I think my next cheap option is a 3.99 ignition relay. Please help.

The Security System also crossed my mind. Anyone know how to trouble shoot or disconnect the system totally?
