Im in the final stages of getting my car running and right now ive wired my ignition coil so that it gets 12 volts all the time, it does run ive had her going. But from what I can find im not sure if I need a ballast resistor or not because some guys are saying they dont have them on and the coil stays fine but others say the coil burns out if you dont run a resistor, ive been to every automotive shop here and none of them even have it on the parts list for the engine! I need to know so I can finalize the wiring for my engine soon!
