This is kind of a question ETCG has asked but, if someone handed you a blank check, and said you can do whatever you want to your CURRENT car, what would you do?

I have an 08 Scion XD with close to 50k miles on it, I would personally convert it from auto to standard, put a high performance clutch, and short throw shifter in along with it. After that I’d put a turbocharger on the car along with some better fuel injectors along with it and a better fuel pump, along with reprogramming the ECU to do as it should. I’d also put in stronger crank bearings and crank, and cam gears. Along with the turbo I’d upgrade the entire exhaust system from the manifold all the way back. I’d also install a cold air intake system, not that it would do much good. After that I’d like to replace the stock shocks and springs all around with slightly lower ones and add a rear sway bar to it. I’d convert the rear drums to disc and change all the rubber lines to braided steel. As far as exterior I’d only change the wheels from stock steel to TRD wheels with tires better suited to higher speeds and handling. I haven’t seen any really nice XDs out there so this is my dream right here. Lots of time and money for a car that isn’t that special. But it would be one of a kind and mine.

A blank check is a little much. If that’s the case, I could make the balling-est Yukon ever. I’ll limit my modifications to something in my budget. 😛

        1. Fix my transmission slip
        2. New transfer case rear housing
        3. K&N urethane cold air intake
        4. Molded rubber floor mats
        5. Silverstar Ultra bulbs all around
        6. Repaint
        7. Stock rims (I have American Racing chrome rims that came with it, they are ugly)
        8. New ball hitch

Other than that, keep it stock.

well thats a large wishlist for me as i have a 1993 Buick Regal Limited…..
the engine is the v6 3.8 i love it is so quiet but wish it had the fuel milage of my old 1988 Firefly

as far improvements go this car was a victim of the early 90’s GM paint issues

1.Full paint job and removal of all Body rust
          2.Supercharger 🙂
          3.replaced headliner
          4.new windshield
          5.new stereo
          6.remove engine clean engine compartment
7.remove and replace full wiring harness
8.upgrade tires and rims to 16 or 17’s
          9.full suspension repair
          10.custom exhaust

hmm thats alot for a 20+ year old car and has 185000 KM on it

I would put a 300 straight six engine and a SM465 Trans. with a NP208 transfer case in my 99 Mazda B 3000, I would also also swap out the rear 7.5″ for a 8.8″. Then I would paint it two tone like the trucks from the 60’s.
