idle issues

ok when i drive my car around and come to a stop at a red light for some reassons i notice that my rpms drop real low to the point my stering wheel shakes and it feel like it wants to shut off but dosent any ideas.

idle air control valve dirty, fuel filter dirty, air filter dirty, air leak somewhere, oil and dust build up in throttle body

i did notice alot of dirt around the throttle body today ill clean that when i can a see what happens

what type of car?
do you have a check engine light?
can you go to a local auto parts store and borrow their scan tool to check for codes (even if you dont have a check engine light on)? The major chains let you use a scan tool for free in the parking lot. (Autozone, O’Reilly, etc.)

Does it occur both with cold and warmed up engine? My situation is very similar, but when its all warmed up the problem is gone. Same for you?

mine does the same thing it is a 2000 jeep GC i6 4.0 I cleaned the air idle control and even took the TB off and cleaned it, changed the plugs still the same other than that engine sound and runs good

This, to me, is a clear sign of a large vacuum leak. When ever you have idle problems that go away when you step on the throttle it usually has to do with vacuum. Is there a check engine light on?

Check for vacuum leaks. Eric has a video on how to do this.
