      hi,

my mentor broke his fav. socket wrench today , he picked it up on his trip to the states for a drag race event.
i want to replace it for him, but i have never seen this connection before.
i am more a 1/2 , 1/4 , 3/8 man myself but he has been a amazing teacher over the years so yeah if he wants a freaky deaky socket wrench ill get him one.

i just need to find out the name of the connection.
so im hoping my fellow enthousiasts across the pond can help me:
“name that connection! ” * audience shanting it with me

wow, i have never seen anything like that before.. even doing some searches im not seeing anything that would even fit that. Makes me curious what it is exactly. Hopefully some of the older techs might know what it is. so i’ll bump this to the top for you.

You need more pictures. Pictures of the rest of the tool and any identifying marks etc. I would say it is some type of spline drive but, more then likely you need to look for a rebuild kit for it if you can even find one. Also what part broke do you have the pieces from that etc. Does he remember what kind of store or where he got it at etc.
