I accidentally severed a small hose. It appears to connect into a vacuum line, but I wanted to double check with the experts. It’s a hose/line of small diameter that hooks into a Y connector that is attached to normal-sized vacuum hose. Can somebody please identify what the small hose connects to? Also, can it just be replaced with bulk hose of the same diameter, or is it something special that I’m not aware of? Thanks for your help.

I can name the part but I can tell you how to replace it…

Go to autozone… Trace the hose and remove it and take it inside..
Tell them you need a hose the same size or a tad smaller then the outside hose connector…. They should have something…

This is on a mini van????

Iv got the same van with the same hose…. The hose was broke on mine and I just replaced it with a rubber hose…

Also lawn mower fuel hose works nice aswel.

Those plastic hoses are crap…Ford was the worst about plastic lines…. They dry out get brittle and brake.

        Hope iv helped.

It didn’t look like anything but air was going through it…considering it looks like a vacuum line and hooks straight into the plenum. Yeah the hose is crap, I was just moving it out of the way while I was working and it broke right in half. Thanks for the help.

I hate those hoses for that very reason. +1 on replacing it with regular vacuum line or a hose that fits.
