      You can move the changer anywhere you want it, but keeping it in the trunk keeps it out of the way, while still keeping it accessible, unless you’re like me and drive around with a completely full trunk all the time.

        That was funny ! ah , to be young. my first car was a 69 rs camaro and it came with an 8-track player ( long long before cd’s ) I had at the time 3 8-track tapes_x000D_

          I guess I better leave it where it is then. Then again I’ve had issues with spilled liquids in the trunk before but that’s a whole other story. At least it’s out of the way. Maybe I’ll just replace the whole shooting match with an ipod head unit.

              It’s not unusual to have the CD changer in the trunk– my son’s car has just that setup. I thought it was a little unusual at first, but it works pretty well.

                  I guess this topic has been answered. I just think I’ll get a new head unit. One with ipod connection and aux ports and a cd player in it. That way I can use the changer in the trunk when my hipster friend says “Hey man lets listen to the entire Wall

                    yes, just buy another head unit. i know BMWs are popular for having their 6 CD changer in their trunk. i never understood how this is practical. in my maxima, the cd changer is right where it is suppose to be, IN THE HEAD UNIT along with the radio!!
