      I am getting a P0420 error code which indicates a bad catalyctic converter. Just wondering if anyone hd any experience dealing with this problem. I am checking out oxygen sensors they dont seem to be working right. Any advice would be appreciated.

        check for any exhaust leaks. if none found then your o2 sensor is reporting that the cat is not cleaning up to spec.
        A cat would be needed.
