Very early this morning 4:00am to 4:10am to be exact i received 6 text messages from someone looking for service at a local motel 6 here in Ocala.
First at 4:00am i’m still sleeping and second my ads clearly state that i don’t do mobile service and also my hours are 9:00am till the day is done.
The 3rd 4th 5th and 6th texts were just them chewing my ass off calling me every name in the book and how rude i am for not returning there texts.
20 years ago i would have drove out there just to put a pop knot on his head that looked like a bowl full of plumbs but that’s not a good business practice though it would have made me feel better lol.
I just don’t understand the mentality of people these days and they make want to close up shop for good!
I only do this nowadays to help support my family and sometimes i overwork myself to the point of hospitalization.
Do any of you other guys get people like this?

Some people just straight up suck and I try not to let them give me a bad taste toward the rest of the human race however it is hard at times.
Some people need attitude adjustments.
And hell isn’t like they stand to lose that many of points lol.Not nearly as complex, but I used to be a bicycle tech. One day I was at a walmart putting bikes together as a vendor. Their bike tech brings me a bike and says a customer wants to be able to select directly to a mid-gear and not get any clicking. I give the bike a run through, and there is nothing I can do, it’s a cheap quality shifter. I can’t fix cheap junk. Tech gets mad because I told him his customer is better off going somewhere else for a bike. He always seemed to hate me, but it was his slow incompetence that I was there picking up his slack.
Recently, we had to get a new windshield. We made an appointment with Safelite, and when we got there, they were a bit backed up. Seems odd to me they only had one tech on hand. Anyway, lady gives us an estimated time, so since we had no other transportation, we walked to other businesses, had lunch, then returned about the ETC. When got back, they had a couple different people being very demanding on the only tech. We sat down and just chilled. It took 2 hours longer than first told to us when we made the appointment, but we get the stress of dealing with the general public. For our patience, the lady surprised us with an extra $20 discount. Cool, I’ll take it, and I’ll share them trying their best. My other truck will need a windshield, so back I will be going.
Sounds like a possible case of personal problems becoming car problems.
Not completely relevant, but I think you’ll find this funny. It always makes me smile. 🙂
Language warning.You need to get another phone for your business and either turn the ringer off or the whole phone off when you are not “open”.
Maybe you should be glad they did what they did because you don’t want to deal with people like that.
It was my business phone they called on but your right i certainly don’t need customers like them and there number has been blocked so they wont be calling back.
On another note i was reminded of a guy who i did work for last year doing some performance upgrades and yes one of them he wanted was a Ebay chip that he was insistent on having even though i explained to him in great detail that they just don’t work.
So about a week later he calls me up and wants me to remove it under warranty and i told him that i tried to tell you but you wouldn’t listen and that i would be charging him to remove it and he went ballistic telling me he would sue and have my ass kicked and all that jazz but it was clearly noted on the paperwork that he signed that the customer was informed about the chip and it would not work.
So to this day i haven’t been sued and my ass is still intact lol.
