Boss is thinking of getting one of these in the shop. Personally I don’t think it’s worth it. I’ve used them before and outside of Rotor/hub assemblies I’d rather just use a bench lathe. It’s just more of a hassle when the majority of our brake business is front brakes on FWD vehicles (seeing as how you can’t turn one side and break down the other side when you’re working on the drive axle).

So does anyone else have one of these in their shop? Love it? Hate it? why?

Waste of money IMHO…. Send all of these GM’s to another shop…. No loss… You can do 2-3 brake jobs in the time it takes…..

Only way I can see this working for a shop is to charge an exorbitant fee for captured rotor service….
