I don’t have that information to be honest but you might want to check your owners manual because many times that procedure is outlined there. I will say however if the remote is part of the key assembly it’s likely that you’ll have to go to the dealer if not the key will not work because it wasn’t programmed into the system.

+1 on the above post. I would just call the dealership and ask them how much they would charge.
The dealer usually doesn’t charge if you buy the fob from them.
Not sure if you are going to find anyone to disclose a “How To” on this topic as it is a trick of the trade. I wouldn’t short any pins at the ALDL unless you know for sure it will not destroy modules or cause other problems.
There is a stand alone procedure without the scan tool but I usually use the Tech2 or MDI to program new fobs.
If it is jus the door lock and unlock that hangs from you’re key chain without auto start you can try these steps that I know works for most fords because I set my key chains for both of my vehicles. Put you’re key in the ignition and cycle it between off and run/accessories eight times if it works the vehicle will lock and unlock the doors automatically letting you know it is in learn mode then you push the lock button on the key chain and it will learn that key chain, hope this helps.
