How To Install a Windshield the “Right” Way

This answered my questions about quality work and materials related to the insurance company saying the $150 job is all that’s covered.

Excellent video. Plenty of info that the typical vehicle owner should be aware of.

I’m surprised to learn that the new urethane bead is applied to a remaining skim coat of the old stuff. Always assumed things were taken down to the metal. I guess doing it this way reduces the chances of paint chipping/scratching and subsequent corrosion inside the window channel.
