How to find a power steering fluid leak

I have a 2002 Cadillac Sedan Deville with a north star engine. My power steering fluid is leaking. I have looked for a leak and I cannot find it. What is the process for finding a power steering fluid leak.

If you can’t see a leak anywhere then it must be leaking into the steering rack bellows where the inner tie rod ends are connected to the rack. There is a small clamp there. Remove the clamp and slip a small pocket screwdriver between the inner tie rod end and the bellows being careful not to tear the bellows. If fluid drips out then that’s where the fluid is going.

The steering rack will need to be replaced.

By the way Don, did you find the A/C drain tube?

I would still do a thorough visual inspection. Having an access to a lift would make it easier on that vehicle too.
