I guess how much repairs are necessary is up to you, a picture would perhaps clarify the extend of the damage. Services such as http://www.imgur.com provide free uploading of pictures without registration for use on message boards etc. (don’t mean to spam, i’m sure there are several others, its just something thats simple and free)
I guess for a 98 head light the junk yard is the place to call, should be plenty of those units out there. As for repairing cracked bumpers I have a positive experience with those glass fiber ‘mats’ + resin, which you put on the inside of the bumper. I didn’t repaint the outside, but just have it stay in place and aligned makes it looks a lot better. I can’t imagine doing both those things would cost very much.
As for realigning the (top) of the door I’m curious for suggestions myself. My passenger door has been run in to a concrete block in a parking lot or something at some point in its life, leaving me with a whistling door seal when driving in strong winds from the left. A suggestion that has been made to me is putting a wooden block in between the door and trying to bend the door (with the window down). I wonder if loosening the hinge bolts could solve this problem also, but haven’t attempted thing out of fear for making this worse. Not a huge issue, but something i’d like to fix.
