        How long it takes can vary, but what I would do is wait a good 24 hours.

          i have never had good luck with rtv. it usually leaks at some point in time in my experience anyway

                Given that there are a lot of differences in RTV sealers I would read the tube as suggested for best results.

                        I personally prefer not to use RTV. To me its a rather cheap way to put a gasket on a vehicle. I rather pay more for an actual gasket set over the sealers well because RTV is just like glue if you ask me. Glue can melt at a certain temperature and I know
