How long can base coat sit before clear coat won’t

I’m a dummy, ordered touch up paint from automotivetouchup.com, got plastic primer, grey primer, base coat but no clear. I didn’t notice I didn’t have the can of clear till I finished spraying the 5th coat of base. Assuming I order now, I’m still not gonna get to it till next week. Would it be okay to just spray clear on a week old base coat? Should I scuff first and reshoot a layer or two of base then do the clear coat? What should I scuff with if I have to do that?

The base absorbs moisture so really it depends on your climate if you live in a hot dry climate you might get away with it if not then no likely it’ll need to be sanded down and redone if you want good results.
